quaesitum [L.] that which is sought for; an object of search; the answer to a problem.
The intention of this blog is to create light, not heat. I'm really interested in what people think about issues that concern me, whether we share the same viewpoint or are diametrically opposed. So please say exactly what you think, but about the questions, not those who ask them. Personal abuse of any sort will not be tolerated, and any comments containing any such abuse will be deleted. Please remember Voltaire's adage "I disagree strongly with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it". That's the defining principle of this blog. 'A' may think 'B' is a wet, spineless liberal with no moral fibre, while 'B' may think 'A' is a fire-breathing reactionary bigot way to the right of Attila the Hun, but as long as we just think those things and not say them, I hope we'll get along fine, even if we have to agree to disagree.
